Directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Reid Carolin, Magic Mike’s Last Dance is an upcoming comedy drama film. It is the third instalment of the Magic Mike film franchise. It was announced on November 29, 2021.
The first film of the franchise, “Magic Mike,” was released in 2012 and grossed around $122 million against the budget of $7 million, whereas the second film, ‘Magic Mike XXL’ which was released in 2015, grossed around $167 million against the budget of $15 million.
Magic Mike’s Last Dance Star Cast
The film brings Channing Tatum back in his role as Mike Lane, a.k.a. Magic Mike, a male stripper who performs at Xquisite. The actor is known for films like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, She’s the Man, White House Down, Foxcatcher, The Hateful Eight, The Last City, etc.
Tatum has also been listed in Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2022. Along with him, the film also stars Salma Hayek Pinault, Ayub Khan Din, Jemelia George, Juliette Motamed, Vicki Pepperdine, Gavin Spokes, Caitlin Gerard as Kim, and Christopher Bencomo.
Magic Mike’s Last Dance Trailer Out
The film’s trailer is out. The nearly 2.5-minute-long trailer shows Magic Mike Lane taking to the stage again after a hiatus, following a business deal that went bust, leaving him broke and taking bartending gigs in Florida.
In this part, he heads to London, as he got a luring offer which he can’t refuse from a wealthy socialist played by Salma Hayek Pinault who has an agenda of her own while doing so. With everything on track, Mike gets to know her agenda, and now what he is going to do next is the crux of the film.
Magic Mike’s Last Dance Release Date
Produced by Nick Wechsler Productions and Free Association, the film is set to be released theatrically during Valentine’s Week. The film’s release date is out, and it is confirmed that it will be released on February 10, 2023, in the United States and other parts of the world, including India.
